Due to our relocation to the Lake Tahoe area, there will
not be a Pocatello Endurance Festival scheduled in 2011.
We
wish we could continue the event, but need a local event
director to take on the local coordination of this
project. Participation grew between 25 to 40% each
year! If you know of any ambitious person or group
that would like to continue the tradition, please

Gold's Gym Road cycling course is on scenic roads that
venture up to the Mink Creek Recreation Area.
Course has a gentle climb of 597' vertical
gain, then a flying fast tempo return to the
finish. |

run duathlon 35K
The Peak Hydration 35K duathlon is a 30K road bike, followed by
a 5K run
utilizing the great bike and run courses. This
is a no drafting event. |

The
Bank of Commerce Kids Run and Bike Races:

Kids run and bike races
FREE
The Bank of Commerce kids run and bike races for ages 2-10. Maximum
of 75 participants in each race (total 150 participants). Bike
helmets required. The Bank of Commerce Kids run has 0.3 and
0.6 mile distances. The Bank of Commerce Kids Bike has 0.55 and 1.1
mile distances. These races are free, and the kids get all the goodies!
Parents must register
kids in advance. No day of event registration. Go to the

Barrie's Spaghetti Feed and Party:
FREE Friday night check
in
Barrie's Ski and Sports is the host for
the Friday night FREE spaghetti feed, music, and check in party.
Come in between 5-7pm on May 14 and get a free spaghetti dinner,
check in, get your goodies, and shop for last minute needs.
Free bike inspections are also available.
LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER. No day of event registration
accepted.

Event participants receive a custom Endurance Festival Gear Bag, water
bottle, goody bag, raffle prizes, ChampionChip timing, feed stations
on course and start/finish area, insurance included (NO one-day membership fee like many events), fun
atmosphere in the Festival Village with food, music, booths and
more. Great events for groups like
organizations, clubs, companies/co-workers, families and friends.
Routes and times may be
changed at the discretion of the Director due to weather,
safety, construction, permits, road/trail conditions,
road/trail impact,
and other factors. |
Courses
Scenic and challenging courses include the 5K run flat
and rolling hill loop (10K = 2 loops) on roads and the
Portneuf Greenway along the Portneuf River. The 30K bike
course (slightly shorter at 16.2 miles) is an out-and-back that ventures to the Mink Creek
recreation area and includes a low incline climb with a 500'
vertical gain. The duathlon is a bike, then run format
(similar to triathlon). Easy transition set up. For kids
ages 2 to 10, courses include the run (0.3-0.6 miles) and
bike (0.55-1.0 miles). The ultimate format for
participants, fans and support group! Fun festival
atmosphere during your event!

at Rainey Park/Pocatello Community Charter School at
995 S. Arthur and walk across the river on the
pedestrian bridge.
This will make for a much
safer environment on the course for participants.
Please do not park on Grant Street, Idaho Street, in
the entrance of Centennial Park, or at the City
Creek Trailhead. We appreciate your help in
keeping these areas clear for runners and cyclists.

are hand crafted stone-shaped necklaces and key chains that
